4. Setup è Installazione

Before beginning installation, ensure power is OFF at the circuit breaker. This sensor requires a neutral wire connection. If your existing switch box does not have a neutral wire, consult a qualified electrician.

5. Operating Instructions

The Westgate YM2108-T-W sensor offers flexible operation modes and adjustable settings.

Modi operativi:

• Occupancy Mode (Auto-ON/Auto-OFF): In this mode, the lights will automatically turn ON when motion is detected and turn OFF after the set time delay when no motion is detected.
• Vacancy Mode (Manual-ON/Auto-OFF): In this mode, the lights must be manually turned ON by pressing the switch. They will then automatically turn OFF after the set time delay when no motion is detected. This mode is Title 24 compliant.

The mode can typically be selected via a small switch or setting on the device itself, often accessible by removing the wall plate or a small cover.

If the room is already bright enough, the sensor can be set to prevent lights from turning on. Adjust this setting to suit your environment.

The Westgate YM2108-T-W sensor is designed for minimal maintenance. To ensure optimal performance and longevity:

• Pulizia: Periodically wipe the sensor lens and outer surface with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or excessive moisture, as these can damage the device.
