4. The device will display the wiremap, continuity status, and identify any faults such as open circuits, short circuits, or crossed pairs.

6.3 Cable Tracing (Wire Tracing)

This function helps locate specific cables within a bundle or wall.

1. Connect the network cable (RJ45) or telephone line (RJ11 via adapter) to the transmitter unit. For telephone lines, use the RJ11 Alligator Clip Test Cable.

3. Switch the transmitter to "Trace" mode.
4. Use the receiver unit to scan along the cable path. The receiver will emit an audible signal when it detects the traced cable.
