Product Overview

The Muse M-178 PW is a projection clock radio featuring FM/MW radio, dual alarms, snooze, sleep timer, and an AUX input. Familiarize yourself with the controls and display as shown below.

1. Connection Power

Connect the external power adapter to the DC IN jack on the unit and then plug the adapter into a standard 230V AC, 50Hz wall outlet. The unit will power on or enter standby mode.

2. Salvamentu di a Batteria

For backup power, insert 2 x AAA batteries (not supplied) into the battery compartment located on the bottom of the unit. These batteries will retain the time and alarm settings in case of a power outage.

3. Initial Clock Setting

After connecting power, the display may flash. To set the current time:

  1. In modalità standby, appughjà è mantene premutu TEMPU SET button (if available, otherwise proceed to step 2).

  4. Release the button(s) to confirm the time.

1. Piazzà l'alarma

  2. Aduprà u HR. è MIN. buttoni per impostà l'ora di sveglia desiderata.
  3. Press u Set di sveglia button again to select the alarm source (Radio or Buzzer). An indicator will appear on the display.
  4. Release the button to confirm. The alarm icon will appear on the display, indicating the alarm is active.

2. Funzione Snooze

Quandu sona una alarma, appughjà u buttone SNOOZE / DIMMER button to temporarily silence the alarm. The alarm will sound again after a few minutes (default snooze time).

3. Timer di sonnu

U timer di sonnu permette à a radio di ghjucà per una durata definita prima di spegnesi automaticamente. Per attivà:

  1. Mentre a radio hè in funzione, appughjà u buttone DORMI button (if available, otherwise refer to specific model instructions for combined functions).
  2. Preme ripetutamente u DORMI buttone per scorrere i tempi di sonnu dispunibili (per esempiu, 90, 60, 30, 15 minuti, OFF).

4. Operazione Radio

The unit supports FM and MW bands.

  1. Press u Power / Standby buttone per accende l'unità.
  2. Press u FM/MW button (if available, otherwise cycle through modes) to select the desired radio band.
  3. Tuning Manuale: Press u A- or A+ buttons repeatedly to tune to the desired frequency.
  4. Automatic Scan/Preset Storage: Appughjà è tene premutu A- or A+ button to automatically scan for the next available station. To store a station as a preset, tune to the station, then press and hold a Numeru Preset button (if available) or follow specific instructions for automatic storage (e.g., press and hold SCAN button). The unit can store up to 20 preset stations (10 FM).
  5. Ricurdendu Presets: Press u Numeru Preset buttons (if available) or use the A- or A+ buttons briefly to cycle through stored presets.

The unit can project the current time onto a wall or ceiling.

  1. Press u PROJECTION buttone per attivà a pruiezione.
  2. Aduprà u ROTATE button to adjust the orientation of the projected time.
  3. Adjust the focus of the projected image by rotating the projection lens (if applicable).

6. Display Brightness (Dimmer)

In modalità standby, appughjà ripetutamente u buttone SNOOZE / DIMMER button to cycle through different display brightness levels.

7. Input AUX

Cunnette un dispusitivu audio esternu (per esempiu, un lettore MP3) à u AUX IN port using a 3.5mm audio cable. Press the AUX button to switch to AUX input mode. Audio from the external device will play through the unit's speaker.

Wipe the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents as they may damage the cabinet. Ensure the unit is unplugged before cleaning.

Sustituzione di batterie

Replace the 2 x AAA backup batteries annually or when the backup function fails to retain time and alarm settings during a power interruption. Ensure correct polarity when inserting new batteries.
