Setup: Powering the Device

The JEP-650R offers multiple power options:

1. Internal Li-ion Battery (2000mAh)

The radio contains a built-in rechargeable Li-ion battery. Ensure the Battery Selector Switch is set to "LI-ION".

• Carica USB: Connect a standard Micro USB cable (not included) to the Micro USB Input Port on the radio and to a USB power adapter (not included) or computer USB port. The CHARGE indicator will illuminate during charging.
• Carica solare: Place the radio with the solar panel facing direct sunlight. This method is primarily for maintaining charge or slow charging in emergencies. The CHARGE indicator will illuminate.
• Carica a manovella: Rotate the hand crank clockwise or counter-clockwise at a steady pace (approximately 120-150 RPM) for 3-5 minutes to generate power. The CHARGE indicator will illuminate.

Nota: For initial use, it is recommended to fully charge the internal battery via USB.

2. Batterie AA

For an alternative power source, you can use 3 AA batteries (not included).

1. Basic Radio Operation (AM/FM)

1. Ensure the internal Li-ion battery is sufficiently charged.

3. The radio will begin charging your device. The radio does not need to be powered on for this function.

Nota: Charging an external device will deplete the radio's internal battery. This feature is intended for emergency use.
