5. Setup
5.1 Piazzamentu fisicu
The X-Sub 118SA is designed for floor standing placement. Due to its omnidirectional dispersion, it can be positioned in various locations within a room or stage. For optimal bass response, consider placing the subwoofer near a wall or in a corner, which can acoustically reinforce low frequencies. 6.4 Phase Reversal (PHASE 0°/180°)
The 'PHASE' switch allows you to invert the phase of the subwoofer's output by 180 degrees. This is crucial for achieving optimal acoustic alignment with your main loudspeakers. Experiment with both 0° and 180° settings to find the position that yields the strongest and most coherent bass response in your listening environment.
6.5 PRT/LMT LED Indicators
The 'PRT/LMT' LED indicates the status of the protection and limiter circuits:
