5. Operating Instructions

- Ensure pool water chemistry is balanced (pH, alkalinity, calcium hardness).
- Add pool salt to achieve the recommended salinity level (typically 3000-3500 ppm). Allow salt to dissolve completely.

5.2 Adjusting Chlorine Output

6. Mantenimentu

The electrolytic cell may accumulate scale deposits over time, reducing efficiency. The "CLEAN CELL" indicator will illuminate when cleaning is required.
- Turn off the unit and pool pump, and disconnect power.
- Remove the electrolytic cell from the plumbing.
- Prepare a cleaning solution of 1 part muriatic acid to 4 parts water in a plastic container. Always add acid to water, never water to acid.
- Submerge the cell plates in the solution, ensuring the electrical connections remain dry.
- Allow to soak until bubbling stops (typically 5-15 minutes). Do not over-soak.
- Rinse the cell thoroughly with fresh water.
- Reinstall the cell and restore power.
6.2 Winterization
In areas subject to freezing temperatures, the unit must be properly winterized to prevent damage.

- Remove the cell and store it in a dry, temperature-controlled environment.
