- Ensure the window opening is between 23 inches and 36 inches wide, and at least 19.5 inches tall.
- The unit requires a standard 115V/15A NEMA 5-15P plug. Ensure a compatible grounded outlet is nearby.

The unit can be operated using the control panel on the front of the unit or the included remote control. The control panel features touch buttons for power, fan speed, mode selection, temperature adjustment, timer, and swing function. A digital display will show the current temperature and settings.

- Modu Cool: Provides cooling to the set temperature. Adjust fan speed as desired.
- Modu Fan: Circulates air without cooling. Choose from multiple fan speeds.

- Modu Auto: Automatically selects cooling or fan mode based on the room temperature and set temperature.
- Heat Mode (if applicable): Provides supplemental heating. Note: Heat mode will not operate when outdoor temperature is below 41°F (5°C) and will display 'LO'. This unit is not intended as a primary heat source.

The "Check Filter" alert will illuminate after approximately 250 hours of operation. Clean the air filter every two weeks or when the "Check Filter" light appears.

- Wash the filter using warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
